Attorney Profile

Ms. Tcheng's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. Her litigation experience includes the fields of consumer financial services law, intellectual property law, including patent, trademark, and ITC Section 337 litigation, securities law, including accountant liability litigation, employment law, and complex commercial law, including class action litigation.

Ms. Tcheng has represented clients in a wide range of business disputes, including to following representative engagements:

  • Represented nation’s seventh largest bank and Fortune 100 company in a wide range of commercial litigation, including contract and consumer financial services matters.
  • Represented top ten national accounting firm in misclassification wage and hour class action litigation.
  • Represented national manufacturing company in environmental litigation regarding alleged impact of defendant's pier on longshore littoral drift.
  • Represented national manufacturing company in wrongful termination employment matters.
  • Represented technology licensing company in multi-district patent infringement litigation involving interactive call processing, computer telephony and related services.
  • Represented national manufacturer in numerous counterfeiting and trademark infringement matters.
  • Represented Big Four accounting firm in nationwide class action and CA fraud matters.
  • Represented large public entertainment companies in licensing, royalty and profit participation disputes.
  • Represented individuals in multiple sexual orientation discrimination matters in conjunction with the ACLU of Southern California.

Ms. Tcheng is a member of the California State Bar.  She graduated cum laude from the University of California Los Angeles in 1999, with a B.A. in English Literature, and went on to receive her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2003.  She is active with the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California, and serves as a member of its Foundation Board.

Prior to joining Doll Amir & Eley LLP, Ms. Tcheng practiced law in the Los Angeles offices of Heller Ehrman LLP (2003 – 2008) and Hunton & Williams LLP (2008 – 2009).  In 2007 and 2010,
Ms. Tcheng was recognized as a "Rising Star" by Law & Politics and the publishers of
Los Angeles Magazine.
