Attorney Profile

Lloyd Vu's practice focuses on business and complex litigation, with an emphasis on patents and intellectual property.  As an attorney registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Mr. Vu has particular experience in enforcing and defending intellectual property rights, working with technology ranging from mechanical devices to complex software systems.  In addition to his intellectual property expertise, Mr. Vu's litigation experience includes a wide array of business disputes ranging from employment matters to high-stakes contract disputes.

Prior to joining Doll Amir & Eley LLP, Mr. Vu practiced both patent litigation and prosecution at a patent firm in Beverly Hills, and patent litigation at a general litigation firm in Downtown Los Angeles.  Mr. Vu received his law degree from the University of California Hastings at San Francisco, where he served as a managing editor of the Hastings Law Journal.  During law school, Mr. Vu worked for the Honorable David O. Carter in the Central District of California, as well as the ACLU of Northern California. Prior to law school, Mr. Vu received a B.S. in Computer Science, as well as a minor in business management, at the University of California at Irvine.
